Best Western Premier Herald Square

Multiple guests praised overall cleanliness of property and rooms, though some reported carpets and surfaces left dirty and inconsistent housekeeping (e. g. , floors not vacuumed, occasional missed supplies).

Staff frequently described as very nice, helpful and available; positive front-desk interactions and assistance with issues (technician sent for TV). Some friction on pricing/checkout, but overall service was a strong point.

Consistently noted as excellent — near the subway and in a convenient position, many reviewers called the location 'perfect' or 'top'.

Mixed: comfortable beds and acceptable for short stays, but rooms are small, some wear (worn carpet, rough sealing), noise issues and temperature control complaints.

Amenities were limited for many guests: missing coffee maker/kettle, small rooms lacking microwaves, TV audio problems; basic amenity offering seen as below expectations.

Several guests complained about pricing, deposits and lack of price-matching; some felt rates were high compared with expectations despite overall satisfaction with location/service.
