Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed but leaning negative: several guests reported dirt, stains, hair and even a flea in a bed; a few reviews noted clean towels/linens and good housekeeping on some stays.

Service

Strongly positive overall: many reviews cite incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive staff who solved problems quickly; isolated incidents of rudeness and one reported dishonesty around a refund were noted but uncommon.

Location

Very positive and consistent across reviews: repeatedly praised as an excellent, central Midtown/Times Square/Central Park location convenient for sightseeing and business.

Room Quality

Below average: multiple comments about tired, small rooms and bathrooms, uncomfortable beds and pillows, thin walls/noise, lack of storage/drawers and occasional plumbing issues (poor shower pressure).

Amenities

Mixed: positive notes about a prosecco/happy hour, but recurring complaints about unreliable/slow Wi‑Fi, closed rooftop/bar, missing in-room fridges/minibars and absent coffee machines.

Value for Money

Somewhat negative: guests accept high NYC pricing but several called out an unexplained resort fee, a punitive charge/refund dispute and general disappointment that lowered perceived value.

Prime Location near Times Square

Dream Midtown, just 8 minutes’ walk from Times Square, offers a prime location in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Enjoy stunning views of Times Square from the rooftop lounge.

Luxurious Amenities

Indulge in luxury with designer bath amenities and plush bathrobes in each room. Stay connected with internet access and unwind in front of a flat-screen TV.
